Since 1994, PenChecks, Inc. has pioneered distribution processing solutions for plan sponsors and retirement plan professionals. Today, we are the largest independent processor of retirement plan benefit distributions in the United States.

PenChecks Missing Distributees, LLC was formed for the sole purpose of assuming the responsibility and liability to service funds from un-cashed/stale dated checks representing benefit payments made from qualified retirement plans that have been taxed and to establish a special Taxable Savings Account based on the value of each un-cashed / stale dated benefit payment. Once the individual Taxable Saving Account has been established, PenChecks Missing Distributees Program uses its best efforts to locate the beneficiary of the funds, register them with NRURB, and, if unable to do so, escheats such funds in accordance with appropriate state regulations.

PenChecks Missing Distributees, LLC serves financial institutions including banks, insurance companies, trust companies, brokerage firms, mutual funds and select other corporations, who offer administration and custodial services to ERISA qualified plans.
